First Hike

On Sunday we took Jackson on his first hike (his Grandpa would be proud). We loaded the Bob stroller and Daisy in the car and took off for Tanner Park. Tanner Park is a off-leash area we take Daisy to.

There is a stream that runs through the middle of the gully and at the end is a swimming hole.

It is one of Daisy's favorite places to go. The ride was a little bumpy, but thanks to Grandpa Korfhage it was an easy trail to negotiate in the all-terrain Bob stroller. Jack seemed to enjoy the outing, he loves being outside. About 10 minutes in and he was already asleep. Sleeping is a good thing, but it turns him into a little bit of a bobble head.

You found our blog at the exact moment that we cut off our home internet. It was just too tempermental for too much money. So our blog updates will probably be few and far between for awhile...you can look at old posts! Oh well. Yes, Paxson was only 3 months old when we came out and now he's almost 2! Hard to believe, eh. Well, we'll hope to catch up with Jack sometime soon and thanks for the updates! The BOB with weather shield saved my life when we first moved to Dutch Harbor....otherwise it was just too many hours looking out the window at the rain and snow! Those things are amazing though...they go over anything!

Sorry it took me so long to get on your blog and I am sorry I won't have many updates for a while, but it has been fun reading your past posts...it gives me a chance to chatch up what you two have been up to. I look forward to your comments on this blog and I hope you will be able to check in every once and a while.
