Yesterday Jackson turned 6 months old! He has changed more than I can believe since we brought him home 6 months ago. It seems like he has been with us longer than that and I say that in a good way. I wouldn't want my life anywhere else. I love him so much and would not imagine my life without him in it.
We went to the doctor today for his 6 month check-up. He weighed 16.12 lbs (30%), he is 26 inches (40%) and his head is 44.5 cm (70%). I never really thought he had a big head but I guess it is a little on the large size...he gets that from his dad.
Dr. Schriewer said that he is right where he should be. She said he could start eating stage 1 foods, veggies and fruit. She said to start with the veggies and then to start the fruits. She also said he can start oatmeal and barley. He can naw on pizza crust, teathing biscuits or day old bagels. She said he could start stage 2 in about a month which would mean starting meats. He is rolling from belly to back and back to belly. He can sit unassisted for a minute or two as long as he doesnt have anything in his hands and he loves to jump and jump and jump!

I really can see every part of his growth and progress as well as your wonderfulness as parents. Thank you for all the hard work. I know it must be tough since spare time is so precious but you'll have this his whole life. Love to you and Dustin and Jackson and of course Daisy
